No one can prove what happened 10,000 years ago let alone 10,000,000 years. No one can disprove that everything was made within the last 10,000 years. No one can prove that we can see 10,000,000,000 light years into the past. On the other hand I can not disprove that we can see however far you seem to think that you can see.

In fact we have a hard time proving what happened yesterday, even if we have it on video ! !

Any one Can be a doctor quite successfuly without knowing where people came from. Anyone can be a vet without knowing where the critter came from. The point is IF you insist that we Have to teach evolution in school then you HAVE to agree that ALL the possibilities MUST be taught - otherwise get evolution OUT of the school along with all other references to the origin of everything and teach the kids what we DO know ! !

So Rita has lived for 100 years. That is good. And it is refreshing to know that she is still at work. But what for ? ? Has ANYthing that she learned been absolutely dependent on evolution ? ? How many hours of her 100 years of experience and knowledge would she have to give up if she gave up evolution ? ? Suppose she put 10,000 hours into it. Would her life be any different if we cut just that part out ? ?

Teach the kids to read and write. Teach them to add and subtract. Teach them how to build things. Teach them the things that we Know. And give them the freedom to work out their own interests.

Religion, TRUE religion, is for each person to choose what they want to believe (though I know that few really do alow their patrons that freedom) BUT school is manditory. OK, if you insist on that, then stick to what we know when we teach kids at school.

Of course an “artist’s” freedom of expression can and must be curbed at times.
Freedom of expression can Not be argued or even discussed only at its point of expression. It must be discussed at the root from which it springs, the world view of the artist.

We All draw circles around what is good right pleasant pleasing proper acceptable lovely nice and what is not.

That there Are moral absolutes is Not in question. The question is not how big or how small should the circle be. The question is not should it encompass this area or that. The question Is ‘who gets to draw the circle’.

That every human endevour is touched by the Absolute Universal Norm is Not in question. We have to be respectful of other peoples feelings or we prove that we are other than feeling human beings ourselves; something other than what we were made to be. Everyone expects good right pleasant pleasing proper acceptable lovely nice and rightly so. No one will Ever gain them at someone else’s expense ! You have to earn good right pleasant pleasing proper acceptable lovely nice yourself. OR have it freely and benevolently given to you. Being right And just are more important than someone’s feelings because there is an Absolute Universal Norm.

The circles that we draw Are Laws. Rules.

If you join a chess club, beyond any rules about who may or may not join and how or how you may not act while “attending” the club or functions thereof there Are the rules of the game. Without them chess is Not chess. Does our club play that a pawn that reaches the 8th rank can be exchanged for any piece that has been taken off of the board Or can one conceivably have 9 queens on the board, or any other piece that you want?

Therefore when the laws are broken the perpetrator is punished. Laws without equal and just punishment are not laws. Unless you can find a stand in you are dead meat because you broke the Absolute Universal Norm.

I don’t find anything wrong with you hurting my feelings over some religious practice. I don’t have any that are really worth my feelings.

Christies in Paris has finished the second day of the sale of the “most valuable personal art collection” which has brought some 307 million euros so far. It is the collection of Yves St Laurent and Pierre Berge. The article on BBC says “the French retain a huge affection for Yves and some of those buying will be acting with their heart as much as with their head.

The big question of head vrs heart and $$$ vrs art and it all brings up again the quest of finding true art. Some of the collection is art and is good and nice. Some I would not give a plugged nickel for. I would not Take it if someone gave it to me to make a profit on. I do like the mandate of ARC. To showcase Classic art. Realistic art. Good art. Art. To expose people to ART. Unfortunately even there, there are those who would blush to look through the on line gallery due to the theme of some of the pictures.

I do realize that the article on BBC is referring to the affection for Yves himself driving the buying. I am thinking of the pieces. I didn’t know Yves but I know I do not like some of the pieces of the collection. NOT because they are what they are but because they are masquerading as art. If people were buying the pieces from the heart for the sake of the pieces alone then their heart must be sad indeed ! Myself I like doodling, I like slapping stuff together to see what comes up. BUT when it is all over I get rid of it AND I Never would call it Art or try to pass it off as such. Once upon a time there was a fellow who entered a ‘modern art’ contest in order to ridicule it. He ended up with first prize but he would not accept it and when pressed as to why he did tell them that his piece was entered only to mock them.

I like the comment that we must not argue art at the point of expression. Be it painting, music or what ever form it might take. When we argue we must argue in the beauty of Holiness. Where is this piece of expression coming from? eg poetry, Walt is just plain vulgar! Oh it is so easy to get caught up at the point of expression. There are many “beautiful” pieces of work (and a whole bunch stuff and junk and toxic refuse !) There are many talented artists - who have never come up with an artistic expression in their entire career just because all that is in their heart is junk (or worse). The expression might be technically excellent but you might say they Never got around to trying to find a way to get the studio cleaned up and the ugly rats are the only thing that ever escape from there.

I did mention reality when I referred to ARC. There ARE times when reality is Not reality. Going back to the major life premise behind the ‘real’. Who ever could celebrate death or ugly decay as art ? They exist But they are not what could be. To portray them as art is ugly and is dishonest in the extreme. Explain. No one likes changing baby’s diaper. No one with a nose. But it is true that breast fed babies do not produce vulgar diapers aromatically. Not as long as they do not get Any thing other than Mother. So ? ? Science has not found the reason why we die. Why we wrinkle up. Why some things STINK.

When God made the world it was good. It was beautiful and there are a lot of beautiful things surviving in the world as it is today too. There is a lot of residual artistic expression left in the human heart. But the human heart. The studio. It needs to be expunged and replaced.

This brings up one issue which I am in major disagreement with ! The concept has been around for quite some time that when the government / the “public” grants an income tax deduction for something that money still belongs to the government. It is still public funds! That is not true – even though the ‘government’ thinks it is. There is a rule, a rather strict rule, that when a donor gives money to a charity that donor has given it away – as in, it is no longer his or hers, and that therefore they have NO further influence or say in what happens with said money ! They can NOT designate what the money is to be used for, or why or any other thing about it ! ! Now here we have the government breaking its own rule. ‘We give you a tax break’, they say, ‘but the money is still ours and we Can and Will tell you what you can and can not do with it’.

The other day DW commented that there IS a Significant difference between a dog and a baby. There IS a significant difference between a ‘significant other’ and a family member. Society has been doing everything in its power to alienate people, teaching them that we evolved from lower forms of life. (IF evolution were true how could an evolutionist use the term ‘Lower form’? There IS no such thing as lower or higher or primitive or advanced if it were true – in fact ‘evolution’ itself is an oxymoron right up there among the top ten. People will always associate improvement and better and higher and more advanced with the word ‘evolve’. ) Indoctrinate people that they have their inalienable rights and that self expression and self fulfillment and self love and self aggrandizement is what it is all about and then sit back and wonder why we are all so lonely.

Phil Woolas said it was now down to the opponents of genetically modified food to prove it was unsafe.

However, on Sunday Mr Woolas went further, saying it was the government's "moral responsibility" to investigate whether genetically modified crops could help provide a solution to hunger in the developing world.

Like the online question, which is better plastic or paper grocery bag?

When I was looking into solar heating I dixcovered that it is quite simple and relatively easy to get up to eighty percent efficient. The next ten percent is more costly and the last ten is exponentially even more so. Do we Have to have all the extras on our cars ? Sure it is just a radio, but is the circuit board good for us. Finger nail polish can not be carried around in bulk, it is “dangerous goods” – so, is a truck full of drugstore fingernail polish safer than a truck load of bulk polish? Computers Are nice but the electronic board is not so nice in a garbage dump.

We know for a fact that electric transmission lines are safe. We know for a fact that cell phones do not cause cancer. Or other brain malfunctions.

And this morning I saw the same herd that I saw yesterday morning, again, in the same place.

I was commenting that in all the time since I started working for this company I have seen only one rabbit out in the country. But I have seen any number of urban rabbits. There are/is one or more that live/s in the parking lot at work.

I was very interested in the videos that elephants took of tigers recently. Since it is very difficult to get close to tigers they decided to use elephants to deploy the cameras, hidden inside fake tree stumps and rocks. The elephants can get very close to the tigers without causing the tigers to shy away so they were trained to leave the cameras behind when they came across any place where there were cats.

Watching wild life first hand is for only a small percent of us. I am happy that I get to see as much as I do. We have bird feeders out on our back deck at home and it is so nice to see all the birds that come. Chickadee, several kinds of sparrow, bluejay, red pole, three kinds of woodpecker, magpies, now starlings, and once in a while several others.

This time of the year is good. This and the fall. Good in a number of ways but this morning I have one thing in particular in mind. I travel when the sun is either getting up or going down.

Last night I was doing some shopping in the city so I left later than usual so the sun was getting on in the process of setting and I was rewarded by ...

First at 'Deer Meadow' golf not far from the city, there were three deer. Then there were nine other places along the way where I saw deer, for a total of 65 ! The most in one place was 15 and that could have been 17 but I count only what I can confirm, by then it was getting to dark for the binoculars.

This morning - the sun was just getting up - there were 15 more.

We have seen geese flying about last week and this morning there were 25 or so parked by the dugout where I see the huron and two other smaller flocks flying closer to the city.

So what did Charlie do about it?

The most un-christian thing that he could have done. Instead of agreeing with God that he was every bit as bad as the slave traders, as deserving of eternal incarceration as any one of them and indeed every one else, and begging mercy from God; he distained what Christ did.

So what do we do?

We exploit the notion that all life is equal and bring down what really is at the apex to the level of a random act of chance. We are each an ignoble pile of crap – worth less than a single quark. Face it, if God is not the creator of everything (but Himself) there is no cause for anyone to feel lonely or worthless. You really ARE O with the line erased ! Stop trying to find a meaning to life – there is none.

If you look in God’s book of death you will not find the name of Jesus there. He did not die as Himself. Your name will be entered in the book if and when you appropriate His death as your own. That is THE only way that there is ANY possibility that a new name could EVER be listed in the book of life. ‘I am crucified with Christ never the less I live’. When I begged mercy from God and I died, He recreated me with a brand new start all over again life – and a new name. I owe Christ everything.

Had Charlie been a Christian he would have known that evil is real and anyone who has Not been ‘born again’ is it. We can be because God made us morally responsible. Without that capability there would be no such thing as love ! How much love could Charlie have had for God when he didn’t think that what Christ did was worth it? On what basis could Charlie have been so enraged. He himself originated the idea that we are all less than nothing, being nothing but a meaningless glob of glop. Charlie must have had some left over remnant of some kind of moral conscience to be able to feel rage – BUT WHERE did he get it from ? ? ? When he dreamed up evolution he erased the possibility that there are degrees of good better or best or worse and worst – didn’t he? Of course he did. How could any one honour him with the title Christian? Christian MEANS that there ARE degrees of better and best and that God was on top and then those of us who are created in His image ! Charlie called it arrogance “to say man is the pinnacle of creation and all things were created for him” BUT where did Charlie get the authority to call me arrogant? I MUCH agree that the world and all that is in it IS NOT for us to exploit but I DO NOT agree with Charlie when I agree with that statement !

Think about it. Charlie had no basis whatever for using the concept of exploitation. If and since everything is nothing – even using the word evolve is nothing but using a warm fuzzy connotation that is itself meaningless. NOTHING has evolved ! ! If evolution is true then it does not exist. Last time you used the word you thought of it as meaning “getting better” or “getting more complicated” or “growing” or any combination of the three, didn’t you? WHY?

God provided the only rational behind thinking and feelings. It is not arrogant to believe that God made things the way that they are. God is NOT responsible for man’s inhumanity to man – or inferior life forms. He is responsible for love. Without moral responsibility you would be a non feeling autonotron, is that what you want? It certainly is not what God wanted.

Today is Pi Day 3/14

The most recent attempt, by a Japanese computer scientist in 2002, found 1.24 trillion digits of pi. To put all this in perspective, even an astrophysicist, attempting to measure galaxies, would never need more than 10 or 15 digits of precision. But pi beckons us on further. Some mathematicians believe that if we could only find some pattern in pi, even some hint that there were more fours than sevens, it could lead to a huge breakthrough in our understanding of the universe.

The late physicist Carl Sagan, in his novel Contact, imagined a time when Earth scientists were sufficiently able to unravel enough of pi to find encoded messages from our creators-messages that would allow our primitive race to leap into a greater universal awareness. After all, if you were going to hide a long numeric message in the very fabric of our reality, pi would be a natural place to do it.

Voila, ever read the Bible Code? There are those who would say that there are lots of encoded messages in the text of the Bible - if you string together all the Hebrew words with no spaces and then pick out every fourth letter, every fifth and so on.

Then of course there is the "Language of God". DNA. 3 billion letters or so. And what do we find encoded there? Isn't it funny how Carl Pi gan could dream of finding an encoded message in Pi and yet he had no room for God. At least one guy, Collin, had the brains to figgure out that the DNA code did Not just happen. It really is a message from God to us - Each of us.

I like the response of one university lecturer to a question. (in my own words) A lady asked how can I feel worth anything when there is so much anti feminine in the Bible? " You do not believe that there IS a God. Since you are just random chance you have no have no basis to expect to feel worth anything - what was your question again?" He went on to clarify that in fact there is very much in the Bible that makes a woman worth something - which is NOT found in any religion outside of true christianity. Jesus thought that you were worth dying for.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has attracted widespread criticism after appearing to back the adoption of some aspects of Sharia law in the UK.
Dr Rowan Williams said the UK had to "face up to the fact" some citizens did not relate to the British legal system.
The BBC understands from sources who work on Christian-Muslim interfaith issues that the Dr Williams has faced a barrage of criticism from within the church and has been genuinely taken aback by how his words were received.
The Bishop of Hulme, the Rt Rev Stephen Lowe, criticised the "disgraceful" way in which the archbishop had been "ridiculed" and "lampooned" by some. "We have probably one of the greatest and the brightest archbishops of Canterbury we have had for many a long day," he said.

Lets ‘face up to the fact’ There have ALWAYS been some citizens of England who did and do not relate to the British legal system ! ! A whole bunch of them. AND guess what !! That did not change the law before. Just ask the guys who are currently incarcerated in jail if they relate to the law ? ? Ask average citizen on the street if he or she relates to the British legal system ! !

IF it is true that we have ‘Probably’ one of the greatest and the brightest archbishops – that therefore those who went before were not so great or bright – it is little wonder that the church has in the past been so dumb !

Yes of course, there should be ONE law for everyone. Yes of course it is dumb to adopt an uncivilized code of ethics in an otherwise civil country – though lately we wonders …. Yes what of the 60% who do not want a change of law; didn’t we go through this ‘Majority’ rules thing in our dumocratic Government debates ?

BUT the big problem is the mix of church and state. Here we have a genuine church dumb bell who thinks that – I suppose just because he has a big title ‘arch’ that he can therefore tell the state what to do ! ! Didn’t we go through this whole separation of church and state business ? I am NOT advocating that the citizens of a country can not run their government just because they happen to belong to a church. The secular government IS obligated to have just laws ! ! The citizens of the country ARE obligated to keep the country morally clean ! ! But Arch y is NOT a private citizen. Of course NOT. The leader of the state should not be a leader in the church just as the leader of a church should not be a leader in the state. AND that Includes making public comments. There is plenty to talk about in the church without making political comment and there is plenty to occupy state government without messing with religion.

There are however two leading words that I would comment on. The first is Teach and the second is Good.

A computer can NOT pick a random number !
A computer can NOT compose anything let alone a piece of music !

Is a DNA sequence random?
For all those who think so it is small wonder that they ask “why am I here?”

A DNA sequence is NOT random !
It is a code containing information. There has to be a moral code or that word “Good” is totally meaningless! How could anyone use the word and give it any kind of meaning at all if DNA is a random sequence? The phrase ‘Good work can come from anywhere’ as used by the speaker in this article would in fact be very, very misleading. It would be a warm fuzzy buzz phrase calculated to play on the subtle innuendo that there is meaning to life and you should line up and pay for what is superior. If life evolved from primitive amino acids there is NO good – better - best!

We know that we can not just accept the word of any one and every one who says this or that. Explorers spent years looking for the giants on the east coast of South America because the first guy there said that he saw some. DNA the biggggggest thing to hit the world since … well I don’t know since what. DNA this and DNA that and all the world turns on DNA. We can pick up DNA from critters tens of thousands of years old and dream of recreating them ! We put people behind bars or let them out on the basis of DNA, we decide what is reasonable human behaviour on the basis of DNA, we argue that it proves that we all ultimately came from a common pot.
But one little baby bamboozled science. ONLY about eighty, 80, years old. Impossible to figure out who it was. Just can’t put the DNA together again.

God said “Be Holy” and He qualified it (defined it) by saying “as I am Holy” – “just for those who might have a deep heart felt need to know what ‘Holy’ is, God said, study Me. Get to know what I am like and you will know what Holy is”.

The First major proposition under the AUN (Absolute Universal Norm) is –

No one can be Holy.

Every one who has been born is living on borrowed time, from the time of our birth we are God’s enemies. God gave A&E one rule which they broke and the punishment for that is death (Death is essentially cutting off communication. God did create people to exist for ever). No one can by their own effort or the effort of others be Holy. People are condemned by their nature and by their own thoughts and attitudes and actions.

The Second major proposition under the AUN is –

1. Everyone who is born will die, because we belong to Adam’s family.
2. Every one who breaks God’s law will die. Without a punishment equal to the crime a law is not a law (even God Himself can not bypass our death). Disobeying God is a major crime.

The Third major proposition under the AUN is –

God Himself made a way for people individually to be reconciled to Him.

Carl said that there is no hint of help for us as people. That is not true.

Even God can not do anything for us until we
Believe that He is there.

There was an article just the other day about men’s garages in Russia. The men in the community, it seems, build garages at quite some distance from their apartments and use them as their get away. I often wonder how it is that so many people assume that the rules of a church are so flexible. The prevailing attitude among secular people is, “since we do not like the rules the way they are, we will disregard them and if we do it long enough they will change.” Actually I saw that happen at Bible College, and more and more people are taking that same attitude into church with them. Custom and mores are always right even if they were made up on the spot. Tradition is always to be questioned.
Church should be different. By attending church, every church that I know of, one is saying that one believes in absolutes. I know that is news to a lot of church folk but there it is. God is Holy. He said “be holy, as I am !” That is The Absolute Universal Norm and all the laws and rules and ethics and customs and mores of church flow from there.
How could Prince Haakon become the head of a church? How could Prince Charles? Wasn’t it the Kaiser who said “I know Germans and I know Americans but I do not know German-American”. Something like that. For real there is no such thing as a secular church. That is no oxymoron. It is just plain moron.

Spain's High Court has ordered the seizure of all copies of a magazine that carried a cartoon of Crown Prince Felipe and his wife having sex.
The cartoon on the front page of the weekly satirical magazine El Jueves depicted Prince Felipe saying sex was the closest he would come to working.
It was published after the government announced it would pay couples nearly $3,500 for each new baby born.
The high court judge ruled that the cartoon insulted the royal family.

One day I will get this conquered. I am trying to get changed over to the new blog but so far no successssssss sss s.

The world has turned a few times since I actually got on here last time and in some ways one could say that nothing has happened but in some ways there has been a lot going on. I have been following a columnist for a news paper who noted the "inversion". Back in the 60s something happened to North America. Actually it happened to Europe much sooner and it began happening here in stages back a ways. It just came to the roll over in the 60s. The columnist is likening us to a ship still afloat but inversed, capsized ! What I found interesting was a coment by a younger person and a question by him, "what is the road map back?".

I have been asking people for some time now why it is that North America has been the most productive society on the globe. Why didn't the Old Arab countries in the Middle East put a man on the moon three thousand years ago? Why didn't China? What is it that is differant about North America which makes it the place to be ? Well that is what used to make it the place to be?
I have suggested that it is religion. And I still do. And I suggest that if North America wants to get back to being upright it ought to get back to God ! ! God as the Reformation saw Him and as North America a few generations ago saw Him.

I am Not sanctioning everything that has happened on the NA continent in the past two hundred years ! Don't be a ________ (feel free to fill in the blank). Grab a brain ! I am refering to the general outlook of Most of the people who founded this society. Not all of them were known by God, but enough were And enough paid at least some attention to general Christian Ethics to act as a real moral directive to life that we ended up with such a great place to live.

It frankly does perplex me no end to see people, come from around the world to get away from what was their existance so as to be able to live , insist on bringing all their luggage with them. Religion primary. And it does make me no end of mad to see so many whose roots are here who are doing everything in their power to tear themselves away from what made us great. Well they will and they will get what they wanted. A society just like that which all those people of the world fled from in the past. You don't want God? The feeling is mutual.

I have heard some brainless big mouth say that the present generation is the most moral generation that there ever has been. Moral My ____ ! ! Moral begins with Absolutes.

Now there worry that because the Cipriot government has announced a big bonus for women who have more than three kids there will be a rash of abortions. Women will abort now and get pregnant again After the bonus kicks in. What a world we live in. How can anyone justify abortion?

Can I Prooooove it? No.
There is never going to be anyone go back there to check it out.
There is never going to be someone stick around long enough to see if anything that man creates today turns out to be “alive”, or if new things will crop up that will be ever so much “better” and “new” and “improved” to what we have now. The only proof that we have for the origin of things is right here and right now.

So what do we have to work with?

If God is the one who created everything and He is still around we could ask Him.

If there never was such a “person” as God then we are pretty much on our own. Still and all it is even at that a big stretch of the most vivid of imaginations to conceive of 36million year old fossils still hanging around. DNA still good after 30 or 40 thousand years. Especially when lots of them still are not rock and lots of them still have a lingering smell. Not to mention all the ones that look modern – are modern. Can science prove that anything happened last week? So they can prove that certain things could have happened, because they do happen today and tomorrow.

BUT did a monkey turn into a scientist ?

Apart from variations of a concept of god I am not aware of any other possibility for the existence of all the creatures. Someone made them or all this just popped into “existence”.

A US Air Force sergeant who posed nude for Playboy magazine has been removed from active duty and demoted.
The move reverts Michelle Manhart to air national guard status, a move which has prompted her resignation, she says.
