The optimists are still prognostocating progress and wealth and so on.
The others are still ...

Nothing new in the Middle East. Or the USSR ...

BUT

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are New every morning.
Great is your faithfulness !
Let us search and examine our ways, and turn again to the Lord !
