The missing link

“Astronomers have been able to capture and record the first moments when a massive star blows itself apart.
Astronomers say that supernovas are part of the story of how we came to be, because these tremendous explosions created many of the heavy elements from which planets are made.”

So while one “scientist” tells the world in loud strident rancorous tones that religious nuts can not try to tell the world how we came to be and that science does not attempt to be philosophical; here we have a loud declaration that in fact we owe our existence to … anything but God.

Have you Ever tried to figure out how light from a source 20 billion light years away reaches the earth? That’s 20 times a billion times 186,000 (miles light travels in one second) times 3600 (seconds in an hour) times 8760 (hours in a year). Count up the zeros – 16 ! – 10,000,000,000,000,000 - do the rest of the math yourself. 2x186x36x876 ……. Miles. Traveling at the speed of light it would only take you 20,000,000,000 years to get there.
