sixteen

Today was a sixteen day. That is I saw sixteen deer while I was on my drive home. A couple of days ago I saw five and then where I saw the sixteen today there were eighteen. So that was a twenty three day. Unfortunatly these big herds are a good half mile from the road and west, ie toward the setting sun, which makes for not very good seeing. I think it must be the same herd actualy. I could only make out one set of antlers. The other day they were very aware of me but today they did not seem to have noticed me at all.
